Guitar lessons as gifts
Have you ever felt completely bored of your guitar lessons and you've had enough of hearing how to play the guitar? You were so uninspired that it was hard to get up and go to the next meeting with your guitar teacher? All your dreams about the stage, groupies jumping on you after yet another incredible concert - crushed into the nightmare of tiring guitar courses.
I know how it feels when you realize that your dreams may not come true because you are incapable of applying yourself to the job necessary to achieve your goal. If you want to play great, you need to attend some guitar lessons and work on your technique, speed, rhythm and style. The public will not always love you for that nice smile – they want to hear good musicians too.
What you need to ask yourself is if the problem is really your attitude, laziness or is it just a bad choice of guitar tuition that's making you dog-tired with no results. The thing to do in this situation is to try to learn how to play the guitar from another teacher. It’s possible that he will motivate you to work by using a different method of teaching and by choosing your repertoire preference you will play with more pleasure for all present.
The one thing I am sure of is that sticking to the old guitar lessons format is not a good idea as you already know they don’t work. You need to be faithful to your feeling of music and to the decision that you will become the musician you wanted to be and not be 'jaded' by guitar courses which obviously do not motivate you enough to get the success you’ve dreamed about.
Don’t pose anymore - get real about a real art - Rock'n'Roll is here to stay! Trying to pretend that something is happening when it's not, is a deadly mistake, because you're creating the situation of nothing happening in your Guitar Life. You need to move on and find some guitar tuition which will meet your expectations. Remember that the tuition must please you, not you must please the teacher. Form Object
