My musician friends advised me to download guitar lessons from the internet as parts of my early technique growth needed more variation. The interest to develop my guitar skills led me to download guitar lessons online because at first normal guitar lessons with a teacher were too expensive and I had to resign from any financial layout for now. The worldwide credit crunch was biting hard, my mum had lost her job and we barely had money for food and bills. I really could not live without playing guitar though, as it gave me the soul satisfaction I needed in these hard times. She even asked me to sell it, as we had no money to live, but I begged her to leave me the only one thing that makes me happy. I promised I would practise so hard that I would become good enough to teach and gig, so this in itself would eventually bring in more income. She reluctantly accepted my wish and to thank her and help us I went to play guitar in the street near the town centre. People were giving me money and our financial situation started to be better. To my surprise people liked my music, simple songs though they were. 12 bar blues, folk songs, Beatles tunes, but I needed to learn more about the guitar so I could pick things up quicker. I downloaded free guitar lessons in an internet café as as I didn't have free internet at home or school. I have no friends with internet connections so I must pay and download guitar lessons in some public internet place with fast internet connection. I wish they wouldn't charge me extra for the luxury to download guitar lessons as file are sometimes massive. I eventually downloaded 11 Beginners Lessons which were very cheap at £5 each from John Mizarolli's Guitar Site. In a year I went forward 5 years! I eventually could afford private lessons with John and I am now teaching and gigging day and night - I still have a lond way to go but the Music of the Spheres Course gave me great direction and understanding of what music and guitar are really about.
