A friend asked me if I knew somebody who could give lead guitar lessons at his private music school. He already has teachers who teach how to play the piano and violin, but he is looking for somebody unique to teach lead guitar lessons. I told him I didn't know anyone in that circle but I would love to attend his guitar class as it was one of my childhood dreams to play the guitar well and maybe with time master or learn lead guitar lessons. But I realise this would only be possible after a good few years of training and studying the guitar. I still have an old guitar in the basement. I bought it with my first salary, but then we moved to another city, I was busy with family and business life and I never had time to start to learn how to play it. I thought my friends school was the last chance for me to learn how to play guitar. I told him that I will help him to find the right professional to teach lead guitar lessons in his school, I only need time. I agreed to find somebody to give lead guitar lessons with the condition that I will have rights to attend the guitar lessons for free or at least a serious discount. He agreed and I asked for help in the recruitment office as well as combing the net, the musicians union, music magazines etc.. I soon found out that John Mizarolli was on the frontier of teaching lead guitar lessons, but he only gives private electric guitar courses at his studio in London. His guitar workshops are like Research and Development in New World Music!
